A quick calculator to find out your correction and base dose for bolus insulin.

This app takes in your current blood glucose level, what level youre correcting to, how many carbs youre consuming, your insulin to carb ratio and your correction factor/ratio.It then outputs the number of units (rounded to 2 decimal points) to take. The measurement for blood glucose is the SI mmol/L, although I plan on adding a toggle later for mg/dl.Please keep in mind that this app does not replace any medical advice youve received and should only be used as a tool in your diabetes management. The publisher accepts no responsibility for inaccurate or wrong calculations.Full medical information disclaimer can be found here: http://thediabetic.life/terms-conditions/#medical.This app is brought to you by http://thediabetic.life and http://digitallysmarter.comFeedback and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated! Please send to [email protected] in version 1.2: Values inputted (except for current BG) are persistent and will be retained for the next time you open the app! There was an error where the app would crash if the values were left blank. This is now fixed. Please leave a comment below, Id love to hear more feedback!

Worked fine for 18 months, now its playing up and filling the boxes with random numbers. If you fix it I'll give 5 stars

Work great apart from doesnt show full screen so you can see overall dose . After base and correction and doesnt show correction dose clearly and the screen wont rotate .but other than that a usefull tool .

Rather worthless app ..

Works great . Would be 5 stars if it had mg/dl unit option. The conversion is a PITA.

Dennis Volpe

I have had good luck with this.
